The following scans from "The Cygnet" of 1972 were sent by Frank Eltham.
Frank Eltham joined Swanage Grammar School in the first year in 1971 and stayed at the old school until it finally closed in 1974 when he went to the new Purbeck School at Wareham. He sent me a very interesting letter about his memories of SGS in the latter years and his transition to The Purbeck School. However, I have not published the letter on this page for the time being, as I forwarded it to Dick Riding who has been in touch with Frank and he has written a very moving and interesting article for "The Swan" that Dick is now preparing and so, to read it, Make sure your subs are up to date!
