Note the house trophies being displayed. I believe they were for Sports Day Champion House and School Festival Champion House. Which begs the Question "What happened to the School trophies and the honours boards which were displayed in the School Hall".

My Mother (deceased) was a founder pupil and my sister was there after me. We share the distinction of all three of us having been taught by Miss Sheffield, Mr. Sellick, Mr. Lindsay and Mr. Gaskell. I was at school September 1953 to October 1959 when I left to start training as an Accountant at UKAEA Winfrith. I was in the same intake as Committee Members Robin Whiffen and Christine Stretton (now James).
