Hello Dermot,
Being an ex SGS boy (1963 vintage, although I failed the 'Grand Cru' for that
intake) and an avid follower of the SGSA site, I thought that this scanned sports
day programme from 1965 would help unlock some memories for you other escapees.
I'm sorry if it's a big file, but I scanned it at high resolution as the
original document (which my mum had kept lovingly locked away out of daylight
for donkeys' years) has become a bit frail and yellowed. This is the
frontispiece and covered in signatures (Mr. Mellor
included if you look all over the page, no prizes for spotting it though, I'm
waiting on copyright laws!) and I must have done a fairly good job in collecting
them judging by the lack of white space remaining on the page! I'll send the
rest of the pages if you like. Meanwhile, best wishes and keep up the good work.
I wish I could get to one of those Old Lags days...

Editor's Note
I have had to greatly reduced the size of the following scans and convert them to black and white and also compressed them further as they averaged over 2 Mb in size. After Nigel kindly sent me the first scan, he sent me 3 more that I am putting on this page. However, if anyone would like copies of the original scans, then please email me and I will forward them to you and if there is a big enough demand, then I will make a separate page with the original scans on it for High Speed Broadband users, so please get in touch with me! Thank you, Dermot webmaster@sgsa.co.uk
